Tanya Davies MP, Member for Badgerys Creek, has announced the winners of her 2024 Christmas Card Competition, with Sophia Hassapladakis of Macarthur Anglican School being named the overall winner.
Mrs Davies stated, “I congratulate and thank Sophia for her artistic design which has brightened the Christmas season of all my Christmas Card recipients.”
Sophia was presented an award and a $100 Dymocks gift card by Mrs Davies.
The following students received awards as winners in their respective categories of the Christmas Card Competition:
• Joint Winners of Years K-2 Category – Annabelle Zammit (Holy Spirit Primary School) and Penelope Peachey (Regentville Public School)
• Joint Winners of Years 3-6 Category – Ameliah Vo (Surveyors Creek Public School) and Zoe Cordina (Holy Spirit Primary School)
• Joint Winners of Most Creative Category – Aiden Kim (Oran Park Anglican College) and Julia Ramos (Banks Public School)
Mrs Davies commended all Christmas Card Competition winners. “I congratulate all the winners of the competition and thank all who put in the time and effort to take part in it. I also thank the school staff who co-ordinated the competition in what is a very busy time of the year. I wish all students the very best in their schooling journey,” concluded Mrs Davies.
