Residents of the Badgerys Creek Electorate are encouraged to honour and celebrate the important role of seniors in the community by nominating them for the 2024 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards.
Tanya Davies MP, Member for Badgerys Creek said the awards are a great way to recognise the contributions and achievements of seniors.
“The awards are about celebrating the positive impact of older people in our families and society. If you know a senior who has gone above and beyond in their service to the community, then I encourage you to nominate them for recognition of their contribution,” Tanya Davies MP said.
Tanya Davies MP appreciates the immeasurable value that seniors bring to a community and makes it a yearly tradition to award the deserving recipients.
“Seniors are a vital part of the fabric of our community and there’s no doubt that we all benefit from their wisdom, hard work and the various roles each senior plays within their families, social circles and wider community,” Tanya Davies MP said.
